HOW TO TREAT DARK SKIN AROUND EYES

If you want to lighten the skin around eyes then you need to make a good skin care regime. Dark skin around eyes or under eye dark circles are caused by many factors such as inadequate sleep, allergies, weakness, nutritional deficiency, or any other health related problem. Here are some tips on how to lighten skin around eyes.
TIPS AND TREATMENTS:
  • First of all, get enough sleep (8 to 9 hours).
  • Make your diet menu healthy by including plenty of fruits, vegetable like dark green vegetables, spinach, cabbage, juices etc. to get all essential vitamins and minerals.
  • Avoid smoking, alcohol other unhealthy drinks which are known for causing dehydration like soda, coffee etc.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  • Make a mixture by mixing some fresh mint leaves + few drops of lime juice. Apply it on your dark circles for about 10 to 15 minutes everyday and feel the difference in 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Apply pure rose water on affected area using a cotton ball, and gently massage the affected area for 5 minutes.
  • Before going to bed at night, wet a washcloth with cold water and place it over your eyes as you sleep.
  • Apply cucumber slices on your eyes for 15 to 20 minutes. repeat this process at least twice daily. You can also use cool, damp caffeinated tea bags over your eyes.
  • Apply almond oil around your eye every morning and evening.
  • Take a peeled and mashed potato. Now, get 2 golf ball-sized gobs of the potato mash and place them onto squares of cheesecloth. Wrap the cheesecloth, close your eyes and place it on top of your under-eye skin for about 20 minutes. Rinse it.
  • You can also use a mixture of almond oil + honey on the affected area every night before bedtime.
  • Soak cotton wool in cucumber juice or in potato juice and apply it around your eyes , you can also do this by making slices of cucumber or potato and putting them on your eyes for 15 - 20 min
  • Make a regular exercise routine by including cardiovascular activities running, jogging, cycling, swimming etc.
